    Not So Chocolaty

Situated on the old location of where Awfully Chocolate used to be, I thought Better Chocolate Then Never was the new incarnation to one of my favorite chocolate indulgences in Jakarta. Apparently what was on offer was far from it. The Chocolate, although still tasty lacked the orgasmic sensation of chocolate that I used to get from the previous establishment. The chocolate cake & black forest cake was more spongy than chocolaty. A chocolate cake like this only means that they use chocolate powder in the recipe, not melted chocolate. The selection of chocolate drinks were sub-par from its original counter-part, but still drinkable. The other hot drinks, like coffee & cappuccino are what you would expect from a small cafe, delicious, but not something to write home about. As for the layout of the place, it still looks pretty much the same as it did when it was still Awfully chocolate, only with whiter walls and an attractive wall menu. Its a nice place to chill after work or just to hang-out with friends, I just wish they offered more variety in its chocolate menu, and try to really build its chocolate repertoire.

    Best CHoColAte

It has all the yumminess of Dark Chocolate.

I used to hate cakes and chocolate cakes especially Black Forest, but betterchocolatethannever successfully changed my mind.. never thought a chocolate cake could taste this good!
Especially for Black Forest cake, it has all the ingredients of yumminess of dark chocolate, rum, and dark cherry all together melt good in my mouth.
Being so curious about the other products, I tried the Rich Chocolate Ice Cream, the staff recommended me to have warm baby Hazelnut to go along with the Ice Cream, Voila.!! heaven on earth! what agreat combination..

Best Customer Service, Great Cakes And Truffles

Ordered a gift basket from the states to be delivered to my friend. Amazing customer service! They were extremely responsive, helpful and patient, even when I had to move the delivery date 3 times. My friend loved the cakes, and I cannot say enough good things about them!

Must Try The Dark Chocolate Ice Cream

At first, me and my friend tried black forest cake and chocolate-banana pie (I forgot the name). The black forest was quite okay, but I prefer the pie since I am a huge fan of banana.
After that we also tried the ice cream, the rum raisins and dark chocolate. And the dark chocolate ice cream was really good!

  6. Love it!
