Jakarta’s inhabitants are well acquainted (have known) the dynamic that Pasar Santa has bring to its modern culture. Somewhat inspired by this striking scene, Food Fighters bring another modern rendition to the nation’s capital. At the buzzing district of Blok M Square, under Fave Hotel Melawai – lies a small concrete block – which houses various pop up culinary adventure shops. With a industry look, the place dashes itself with arcade games theme – making this place a fun place to get that perfect photo in your favourite animation cartoon. It can be quite hot sometimes on the noon, so be sure to wear shorts, or your most comfortable attire whenever dining. Whereas the opening time, some stalls can open itself quite late till 12 noon. So if you want to savour all the stalls, 12 noon is your best option. Careful of the lunch crowd – this place can be super packed. What we had here is Kopi Pasar’s Cappucino – made by the legendary Ve Handojo, MieChino (phenomenal taste of noodle), Sate Bumbu Oma (try the spicy sate, what we had is the mix – chicken and lamb. Its super delicious) – and last but not the least is the Sloppy Joe from Papricano x Sloppy Bro! Super super delicious! To conclude our trip here – what we can say is this – after months of city dining tour, Food Fighters here can be said as one of our most refreshing getaway. Have fun there!
