The international medical humanitarian organization Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) presents “Medicines Not Bombs” public exhibition in Grand Indonesia Mall, Jakarta this week on 16-20 May 2018. that the free exhibition takes visitors inside a replica of MSF hospital rooms in conflict zones. The visitors will have an immersive experience of the bombed hospital.
MSF invites its Indonesian supporters to explore the exhibition venue, which is assembled replica of an MSF hospital, divided into entrance, waiting area, emergency room, and bombed hospital ward. In each room, the stories are expressed through photographs by renowned international photojournalists such as Andrew Quilty, Andrea Bruce, Paula Bronstein and others.
Additionally, there will be events held in this photo exhibition as well, such as Panel discussions, field worker sharing and film screening. The panel discussion titled “Lives and Bombs” will take place on Friday, 18 May 2018 with International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), and Conversation on Stories from the Conflict Zone takes place on Saturday, 19 May 2018 with guest photographer Adek Berry of AFP and Dr Rangi Wirantika, MSF doctor who worked in Yemen, Pakistan and Bangladesh.
