Ramadan at Alun Alun Indonesia

To welcome the holy month of Ramadan, Alun Alun Indonesia presents special collections of fashion, accessories, home living and hampers at our Gallery area starting from 24 May – 29 June 2017.

Furthermore, Palalada and Waroeng Kopi are ready by their special set menus which can be enjoyed starting on 27 May – 24 June 2017 (Ramadan menu) and 25 to 30 June 2017 (Eid special menu). What we serve now is what we call with our ‘most-popular’. “Both Palalada and Waroeng Kopi have one special dish every week this time,” says Daryono who serves as Assistant Floor Manager F&B.

Ramadan Special Menu

Palalada’s Ramadan signature dishes are Nasi Campur Padang served with Rendang Bukit Tinggi (spicy meat dish originated from Bukittinggi, West Sumatra), Grilled Chicken, Perkedel (potato croquette), Terong Balado (hot spicy eggplant) and Sambal Ijo (green chilli paste) on the first week (27 May – 2 June 2017), Nasi Campur Laut served with Grilled Shrimp, Fried Gurame with Sambal Matah, Fried Squid, Kangkung Balacan and Lalapan or vegetables on the second week (3 – 9 June 2017), Nasi Campur Sunda served with Fried Empal, Fried Chicken, Fried Gurame with Sambal Matah, Fried Tempeh, Karedok and Sambal Terasi on the third week (10 – 16 June 2017) and Nasi Campur Melayu served with Nasi Gurih or savory rice, Chicken Curry, Chilli Shrimp, ancovhy and peanuts and Boiled Egg on the fourth week (17 – 24 June 2017). Hot tea and Kolak Campur (traditional dessert with palm sugar and coconut cream) are served for iftar. The price for each of these menus is Rp125.000,00 nett.

The signature dishes of Waroeng Kopi, Grand Indonesia are Nasi Buntut Bakar for Rp120.000,00 nett on the first week (27 May – 2 June 2017), Nasi Gurame Goreng Kremes for Rp85.000,00 nett on the second week (3 – 9 June 2017), Nasi Uduk Komplit for Rp85.000,00 nett on the third week (10 – 16 June 2017) and Nasi Ayam Panggang Taliwang for Rp90.000,00 nett on the fourth week (17 – 24 June 2017). Hot tea and Kolak Campur (traditional dessert with palm sugar and coconut cream) are served for iftar. A bit different, Waroeng Kopi, Central Park Mall serves Soto Betawi and Iced Tea for two for Rp 80.000,00 nett (for public), Nasi Goreng Tempo Doeloe and Iced Tea for two for Rp65.000,00 nett (special for 360 members) and also Nasi Rawon Komplit and Iced Tea for two for Rp75.000,00 nett (special for SOGO Premier Card holders).

Eid Special Menu

Ketupat is always an important element in the menu, both at Palalada and Waroeng Kopi. Palalada serves special Eid menu, which consists of Iced Tea and Ketupat served with Rendang Bukittinggi (spicy meat dish originated from Bukittinggi, West Sumatra), Sayur Santan Labu Siam (pumpkin curry), Opor Ayam (chicken cooked in coconut milk), Sambal Goreng Ati (liver with chilli saucre), Serundeng, and Shrimp Crackers. The dessert is Es Ijo Palalada. The price for this menu is Rp125.000,00 nett.

As for Waroeng Kopi, the Eid menu consists of Iced Tea and Ketupat served with Rendang Bukittinggi (spicy meat dish originated from Bukittinggi, West Sumatra), Sayur Santan Labu Siam (pumpkin curry), Opor Ayam (chicken cooked in coconut milk), Sambal Goreng Ati (liver with chilli saucre), Serundeng, and Shrimp Crackers. The dessert is Es Ijo Palalada. The price for this menu is Rp95.000,00 nett.

Alun Alun Indonesia also offers different types of gift hampers (from dried food to home living accessories) for this special occasion. The price starts from Rp216.000,++ – Rp2.500.000,++.
