Bleu Alley Brasserie

Another tasty addition to Kelapa Gading Area! Going under the same management of Maison Bleu Culinary School Jakarta, Bleu Alley Brasserie has opened its very first outlet early this January, BLEU  presents a fusion of modern semi-fine dining place with a touch of classic vintage details. located at Jalan Raya Boulevard Timur blok NE-01 no. 73, RT.8/RW.12, Pegangsaan Dua, Klp. Gading, North Jakarta, Bleu Alley is the right place to experience one prodigious French Cuisine, and indeed each dish quite make an intricate and posh impression once you lay eyes on those French dishes.



Upon Arrival, a lush greenery of ersatz bushes opens up the path for you to the upper level of dining area. Spacious and entrancing with that shades of navy blue in every corner, the atmosphere sparks excitement for what’s culinary experience to come, leaving you with having a high expectation from the very first start. Especially with that open bar standing in the middle of dining area and one particular space in the corner for live music.

And when it comes to its menu, Bleu Alley went  straight forward for its French dishes and for such fancy plating and elaborate menu, the price is surprisingly reasonable. And just like the authentic fresh restaurant a fresh basket of baked bread is served once you are seated, along with olive oil and balsamic vinegar to be drizzled on top. To Start off, a warm corn soup called “Veloute De Mais”, so basically it’s a very corny soup with a hint of sweetness and practically serves at the perfect temperature.  and guess what? for a bowl of soup this fancy, IDR 55K is not bad at all!



When it comes to main courses, the price level-up a lil bit and so is the component of the dish. Sure enough, each menu is created by a culinary experts since Bleu is all about layering flavor and savoring every bite. The Main course section called “Plat Principaux” in French. and one of the dish that is #JKTGOAPPROVED is their Loup De Mer, a pan roasted sea bass, risotto and top with parmesan cream. The whole dish looks like a brilliant gastronomy invention. As Expected, every element put in this dish is well balanced, especially the pan roasted sea bass, have no idea how they make it so soft and savory (plus its boneless!)



Lastly, for the final closing, Bleu showoff its top notch Comme Dessert : Canele, French Rum Vanilla Pastry with Olive Oil Gelato. Just like the rest of the dish presented, the dessert is a showstopper and prolly the best way to cleanse your palate. the olive oil gelato sounds a bit odd at first, but turns out, it doesn’t have strong olive oil taste, more like vanilla ice cream with a hint of olive oil aroma and bitterness.
