Scientia Square Park
Scientia Square Park is located at Gading Serpong, next to Summarecon Digital Center, the first Serpong digital center. Well, it’s not literally in Jakarta but it’s still easy to be reached. It’s a huge park with many fun and educative facilities such as inline skating, jogging, bike learning, wall climbing, koi feeding, yoga, wushu, futsal, and many more. You can also relax on their universe amphitheatre, an open-air venue, usually used for entertainment, performances, and sports. In here you can watch the beautiful sunset surrounded by paddy field. A remedy to remove your fatigue. Very strategic location and there’s also a shuttle bus to Summarecon Mall Serpong available until 23.00!

BSD Extreme Park
BSD Extreme Park is the first integrated extreme sport park in Indonesia. It’s located at BSD City and yep, we know it’s not in Jakarta again but we think you must include this on your list. Plus, BSD City isn’t really far from Jakarta. This park is a perfect destination for adrenaline junkie. Jakarta City Tour
So, how well do you know about Jakarta? If you haven’t known our beloved city very well, maybe you must give this Jakarta City Tour a try. It’s a free public transport and you can use it to spot popular places in Jakarta. Don’t worry, it’s a full AC double decker with CCTV and the capacity is for 60 people. Just spot the bus stop with “city tour” sign and wait until the purple double decker arrive to pick you up.
During the tour, you will be taken to explore many establishment and historical monument in Jakarta like Bundaran Hotel Indonesia, Sarinah, National Museum, Pasar Baru, Gedung Kesenian Jakarta, Masjid Istiqlal, Gereja Katedral, Istana Merdeka, Monas, and Gedung Balai Kota for about 1.5 hours. Bintaro Jaya Xchange (BX) Ice Skating Rink is the biggest and finest ice skating rink in Indonesia. You can bring your friends along and moving around with exciting music and lights. There’s also another amusement like ice shows and tournaments for hockey, figure skating, and short track speed skating. Click here for more info.
There’s also an introductory lessons for beginners. Lockers are available and if you’re hungry during skating, you can visit their food and drink station. Don’t forget to bring your own socks and gloves! But if you don’t have it, you can purchase the socks for IDR 12.000 and the gloves for IDR 15.000. So, let’s get icy on this season!

Taman Hutan Mangrove PIK
Another place to hide from the city racket and enjoy the nature. Mangrove PIK is located at Pantai Indak Kapuk area. Just like the name, this place is full of mangrove. You can feel the wind blown surrounded by green scenery. Make sure you wear comfortable cloth and shoes while exploring this place. You can see cottages, bird tower, and also the beach. No wonder this place is also very popular for wedding photoshoot!
You can also learn how to plant a mangrove too in here. There’s a short course costs for IDR 150.000 per person and IDR 500.000 if you want to sign it with your name.
