It’s a new year and you know what that means. New Years Resolutions… and not the ones you give up on after two weeks either. Every year it’s the same thing. Get a better job, travel more, spend time with loved ones and go to the gym.

But gyms are so 2015. This year is the year of the Sports Centres and Fitness Studios. So here are the best fitness centres in Jakarta according to us.
We’re talking everything from Yoga to CrossFit to Dance and MMA It’s time to get fit or die trying. And maybe eat chocolate.

CrossFit Equator Kemang

CrossFit Equator Kemang is the 1st CrossFit Affiliate in Indonesia, and has been operating as a CrossFit gym for nearly 5 years. At CrossFit Equator Kemang, they teach you fitness techniques that you can do everyday.

Liv+ Pilates Jakarta is a specialised Pilates studio in Menteng, Jakarta. It was founded in 2012 when MSc. Tina Octavia Sulisto and other well known instructors collaborated to create a personal pilates experience.

Pilates is a great activity to help with improving muscle tone, posture correction and post-surgery rehabilitation among other things. Personal, semi-private and group classes are available throughout the week. Classes start at IDR 200.000
